This outdoor art series brings professional teaching artists to the park for hands-on, instructor-led classes designed for all skill levels, all set against Huizenga Park’s scenic riverfront backdrop.

In this month’s session, Mosaic Tile Coasters Workshop, you’ll design and create your own set of custom coasters using colorful mosaic tiles. In this engaging, hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of mosaic design—arranging patterns, working with adhesive, and assembling your piece into a functional work of art. Whether you choose a bold geometric layout or a more organic, free-form design, this workshop invites you to slow down, get creative, and craft something both beautiful and practical to take home.
