Join us for Junk Journaling in the Park, a free, beginner-friendly creative workshop designed to help you unplug, unwind, and rediscover the joy of analog creativity. Led by NYS-certified teacher turned full-time creative Julia Sergison of Art Club FTL, this monthly experience invites adults (18+) to connect through intentional, hands-on expression in the heart of downtown.

But what exactly is junk journaling?

Think of it as bite-sized, ritualistic scrapbooking. Participants build layered journal spreads using a mix of curated materials provided by Art Club — including journals, adhesives, scissors, decorative papers, stickers, ribbons, markers, and pens — alongside their own personal keepsakes like receipts, ticket stubs, postcards, notes, photos, or other meaningful paper treasures.

No prior experience is needed. There are no rules, no pressure, and no “bad art.” Just space to create.
