Fall in Florida looks a little different, and that’s part of the fun. While other places welcome the season with changing leaves and crisp temperatures, fall in Downtown Fort Lauderdale means waterfront views, cooler days, vibrant tropical blooms, and seasonal wildlife. At Huizenga Park, the shade of surrounding trees and buildings, paired with warm lighting throughout, creates a distinctly South Florida way to experience the season.

Fall at Huizenga Park isn’t just about what’s on the calendar. It’s the cooler mornings along the river, the golden light at sunset, and those little moments that make you want to stay outside just a little longer.
Our fall programming is designed to complement that experience, giving you plenty of reasons to visit while leaving room to enjoy everything happening around you.
Join us for Mommy & Me Riverside Pilates on select Thursday mornings, meet up with friends for Run Club every Tuesday, or bring your energy to Zumba on Fridays. Stay a little longer before or after class to walk along the Riverwalk, relax by the water, or simply enjoy being outside.
That’s part of what makes Huizenga Park special. The programming brings us together, while the park itself gives us space to linger, explore, and make the experience our own.
