If you've walked through Huizenga Park lately, you may have noticed that Mr. Smash Burgers is looking different—in the best way.

Our first on‑site food partner, Mr. Smash Burgers, has recently completed exterior improvements designed to blend their facility with the park’s overall aesthetic. The updates elevate the concession's look and complement the surrounding greenery, walkways, and beautiful park views.

New Look, New Flavors

Along with the exterior updates, Mr. Smash Burgers has also expanded its menu, adding a grilled cheese option. Simple, classic, and park‑friendly, it’s the perfect addition for families, kids, or anyone craving a comforting bite while enjoying time outdoors.

Something Special for Yappy Hour

There’s more to look forward to, especially for our four‑legged park visitors and their humans. Starting May 7th, Mr. Smash Burgers will be rolling out something special during Yappy Hour, bringing extra energy to the park. In partnership with Bandoleros, the team will be serving up a special Yappy Hour bar menu, perfect for unwinding while your pup plays and socializes.

You'll also be able to kick things off with a dog-friendly workout on the Civic Lawn, then explore pop-up activations throughout the park designed for both pups and their people. From tasty treats to interactive moments, there’s something around every corner. Come out, connect with the community, and experience a fresh take on your favorite dog-friendly hangout.
