June 12 - Riverwalk pathway reopens for pedestrians. The stairs to the Andrews Avenue bridge also reopens.

Bathroom shell reaches full height.

Progress continues on the bathroom building, with roof work kicking off.

Work on River Landing continues, a 2,000 SF wood deck built around three existing trees.

Grading of the park will continue, raising areas nearly 4 feet higher.

Underground electrical continues to be installed to power the park.

Meet The
Construction
Team
MBR Construction
Family-owned and operated MBR Construction was selected as the contractor to build Huizenga Park Reimagined. Founded by Mike Boss and based in Fort Lauderdale, MBR has played a prominent role over three decades in building parks that are enjoyed by South Florida residents.

KEITH
Broward County-based KEITH was selected to provide Construction, Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for Huizenga Park Reimagined. The dedicated team at KEITH holds more than six decades of experience overseeing the design and construction of public spaces throughout Fort Lauderdale and across South Florida.
